Helping Parents Find Balance

CHFS provided a 12-month group and one-on-one mentoring program to TANF eligible parents. This program is an after-care program for those individuals graduating from the Family Education initiative. Using evidence-based models along with guides as developed by the Northwest Ohio Re-Entry Coalition, CHFS equipped parents with the necessary skills to:

  • Manage the demands of parenting
  • Adjust to the workforce and remain engaged
  • Become positive contributors to their community
